aloo beans sabzi recipe

Equipment

  • kadai /pan
  • food processor optional

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tbsp. cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste / chopped
  • 2-3 potatoes medium
  • 500 gm beans
  • 2-3 tomatoes medium
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder / curry powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin powder / coriander powder
  • salt as per taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil and add cumin seeds to the pan. Let it splutter. Add chopped garlic and ginger or a tbsp. ginger-garlic paste followed potatoes. Mix with a spatula.
  • Add some salt and let it cook until they soften.
  • Next, add chopped green beans to the kadai.
  • Add the spices along with salt. Mix well.
  • Serve green beans curry hot with basmati rice or roti.
